Also known as the United East India Company or Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie V.O.C, was a company involved in the trade of the East Indies. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the V.O.C was the largest trading company in the world. It was founded in the Dutch Republic (the Netherlands) in 1602 to protect the state’s trade in the Indian Ocean and to assist in the Dutch War of Independence from Spain.
This blog article is different. How? Simply because you won't have to read. The story behind the V.O.C is quite long, writing about it would never end. Well, it would end, I just do not want to write.
